.FACTORY

The Global Domain for Manufacturing, Production and Creation

USA Made in America Inc. has applied to ICANN for the new generic top-level domain .factory.

We believe .factory has the potential to become a powerful global digital identity for manufacturers, suppliers, technology companies, brands, entrepreneurs and businesses that make, build or create.

Why .FACTORY Matters in America

✓ Helps American manufacturers stand out

✓ Makes it easier for buyers to identify manufacturers

✓ Supports reshoring and domestic production

✓ Connects suppliers, factories, brands and customers

✓ Gives Made in America companies a stronger digital identity

✓ Supports the growth of U.S. manufacturing

✓ Creates new opportunities for American businesses online

✓ Helps connect traditional manufacturing with technology, automation, robotics and AI

A Global Opportunity With American Roots

While .factory would be available to businesses around the world, USA Made in America believes it can become an important digital asset for American manufacturers and businesses.

Potential users could include:

  • Manufacturers
  • Suppliers
  • Industrial companies
  • Technology companies
  • Robotics companies
  • Software developers
  • Consumer brands
  • Entrepreneurs
  • Startups
  • Businesses producing physical or digital products

Prepared to Compete for .FACTORY

USA Made in America has submitted its application to ICANN for .factory.

If multiple qualified applicants apply for the same domain extension, the applicants may ultimately have to resolve who receives the rights through negotiation, settlement or an auction process.

USA Made in America has established a financing strategy contemplating raising up to $10 million through a private securities offering.

Why up to $10 Million?

The additional capital is intended to give USA Made in America the financial resources, if needed, to:

✓ Compete for .factory if it enters an ICANN contention process

✓ Participate in a potential auction for the rights to .factory

✓ Fund registry development

✓ Support the launch and operation of the .factory domain

✓ Build .factory into a meaningful global digital asset

The capital is contingency funding and may not be required if .factory is uncontested or if contention is resolved without an auction.

We’ve Done This Before

USA Made in America co-founder’s Michel Van Tilborg and Colin Campbell previously founded and led .CLUB Domains.

During ICANN’s 2012 new gTLD program, .club was sought by multiple applicants.

Campbell and his company ultimately secured the rights to operate .club through a private auction and went on to build .CLUB into a globally recognized domain extension.

That experience provides USA Made in America with firsthand knowledge of the ICANN application, contention, auction, launch and registry development process.

Why .FACTORY?

.factory is:

✓ Short

✓ Memorable

✓ Globally understood

✓ Directly connected to manufacturing

✓ Relevant to physical and digital production

✓ Applicable across thousands of industries

✓ Easy for businesses and consumers to understand

From Manufacturing to the Digital Economy

The meaning of “factory” is expanding.

Factories are no longer only buildings where physical products are assembled.

Today we have:

  • AI factories
  • Software factories
  • Data factories
  • Content factories
  • Robotics factories
  • Digital production
  • Automated manufacturing

We believe .factory can sit at the intersection of traditional manufacturing and the rapidly growing digital economy.
